I cannot stress how much fun Katie and I had and how beautiful the wedding was. Such a beautiful day at a beautiful location.

Louis & Emily Engagement Session

I have known Louis and his family for a couple years now and they have been a second family to me as long as I have known them. So when Vicki, Louis' mom, contacted me to do a bridal/engagement session for the couple, I jumped on it! Really! Because they are not only the two cutest people I know, but they are fun as well. It was a blast shooting them and the smiles just grew bigger as the session progressed. And they were some BIG smiles!

Jakkie & Rich Wedding

This Friday I had the wonderful pleasure of photographing one of the most beautiful weddings I have been to yet- attending or photographing. With the crisp autumn air and the orange yellow and gold leaves to the gorgeous location of Brasstown Geaorgia Resort, it was nothing but perfect as the the couple celebrated their marriage and the start of their life together. I was thrilled that for the first weekend in a LONG time it did not rain here in Georgia- and it has RAINED a LOT! So all in all I am not just happy with the whole day but elated and cannot wait to show you all the pretty pictures I took.

Here's a couple from today as I did a quick scan through as I edited. I am so excited to show you that I am staying up editing pictures instead of sleeping. And trust me after 10 hours of wedding-ness... I am tired!

Growth

It is always interesting to look back on previous work. Whether it is writing for authors or photographs for me. But today I was reminded that it is not so much about how you've improved but the journey itself so in line with that I thought I should post a few photos from previous weddings to remind myself of my journey. The growth and the experience I have had with some of the sweetest couples. Should I be so lucky to photograph many many more and with this Friday's wedding around the corner I am getting excited to photograph this cute couple!
