Author photos like you've never seen them before
How do you do author photos for an author whose identity is a secret? Well, as I learned, you can do ANYTHING and they are fun on a level that is full of adolescence and youth.
These photos I did for middle grade writer, Pseudonymous Bosch, were so much fun to do and we had a blast being goofy!
Check them out and tell me what you think!

Book Trailer for Melissa de la Cruz's WITCHES OF EAST END
I really wanted to share with you a really exciting book trailer that recently premiered on Entertainment Weekly's Shelf Life Blog and I wanted to share it with you here as well.
I had so much fun working with Melissa once again and I really hope you all enjoy the book as much as I enjoyed reading and working on it!
It’s the beginning of summer in North Hampton, and beautiful Freya Beauchamp is celebrating her engagement to wealthy Bran Gardiner, the heir to Fair Haven and Gardiners Island. But Freya is drawn to Bran’s gorgeous but unreliable brother Killian, and sparks fly when the two decide to play a dangerous game, following an ancient story of love, betrayal and tragedy that harks back to the days of Valhalla. Witches of East End follows the Beauchamp family—the formidable matriarch Joanna and her daughters Freya and Ingrid. Freya, a sexy bartender, has a potion to cure every kind of heartache, while Ingrid, the local librarian, solves complicated domestic problems with her ability to tie magical knots. Joanna is the witch to see when modern medicine has no more answers; her powers can wake the dead. Everything seems to be going smoothly until a young girl, Molly Lancaster, goes missing after taking one of Freya’s irresistible cocktails. As more of the town’s residents begin disappearing, everyone seems to have the same suspects in mind: the Beauchamp women. Fraught with love, small-town secrets, and witchcraft, Witches of East End will capture any reader who craves a page-turning, heart-stopping story of myth and magic from an author who knows how to deliver.

I feel like I need to catch up...
So I've been MIA from my blog. Though I wish I could say the same for twitter, where I've been on constantly and keep it updated. So if you find yourself missing me, head on over to TWITTER and follow me @ReverieBR..
But, I should at least apologize, and catch you up, right?
Well I've been trying to graduate. With any luck I'll be done by Tuesday. Which mean I am procrastinating right now and NOT doing my work, ie my portfolio and studying for finals. But what's new, right? Typical, Vania.
But I have been super busy work wise. I was recently in LA and shot some reaaaaaallly cool stuff I can't wait to share. Been shooting like mad some trailers and while some are out, others will be coming out shortly.
I will start with a quick update on this massive campaign Simon & Schuster, Cassandra Clare and I did. If by any chance you haven't heard of it, check out all the cool videos we did.

- Previously in The Mortal Instruments trailer that recapped the last three books.
- Extended Cut of the Previously in The Mortal Instruments
- THE City of Fallen Angels book trailer. Can you spot the scenes now that you've read it?
- We did a really fun video from the point of view of Simon's biggest fan, Maureen.
- Also we had a sexy clip of a scene from the book, appropriately named the "Dirty Sexy Alley Scene"
- Also the unedited and longer version of the DSAS
- This of course doesn't include all the tweeting and posters and photos...
- In fact the weekend of the shoot was a trending topic... #CoFATrailer FTW!
Also, recently the trailers for Lauren Destefano's WITHER was released and Hannah Moskowitz's Invincible Summer. Check them out below.
Some exciting news.... Melisse de la Cruz's WITCHES OF EAST END book trailer will premiere on EW.com's Shelflife blog. Make sure to keep your eyes peeled. So excited to share that one with you!
Speaking of rad authors, I recently did an interview with oh, so lovely Lisa McMann, author of the Wake Trilogy and the recent Cryer's Cross and forthcoming Unwanteds.
Check it out...
Anyways, stay tuned for some exciting trailers coming soon... and other goodies I can't share yet.
