This week rocks. Tis all I'm saying. And then I find my trailer on this site...... yeah! BORDERS!

So yesterday I did a post on where my photos were spotted. Today I got even bigger news.

I saw this post on the BEAUTIFUL CREATURES site.





And then I saw this!!! I mean the French publisher of BEAUTIFUL CREATURES, Hachette, is using my trailer! Like, are you kidding me?

Ok so I got news from my buddies Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl that they used my photos at the SCIBA Dinner on the author slideshow at the beginning. I mean, they have such an amazing author photo already and I was giddy with joy to learn that the organizers had picked mine. (These pics from this page here.) Now only if they took a picture of it... *sigh*

I love FALL, if it didn't mean the oncoming winter I would love it more. The crisp air, the golden shades of the swiftly dropping leaves... What's not to love?

Book Shoot #1

This semester, I am taking inspiration from some of your favorite books and illustrating them. I can't wait to get this finished and show you some of the cool scenes that I have planned. I have been shooting a lot and have had many critiques and after the recent crit I am forced to push this a little further and work on some of my technical aspects. I was asked to add more dramatic lighting. So since I am re-shooting I thought I can show you the what these now are... the outtakes. Tomorrow I will show you an outtake from a scene that I re-shot from Beautiful Creatures. But today we have these few...

A new place to buy prints...

I am kinda SUPER excited to say that I set up a NEW shop with ETSY to sell my prints. The list gets bigger and bigger and the cool thing is that the prices are really low so EVERYONE can get a picture. Or no one....

New Camera= Happy Vania!

It is with no surprise that many of you know that a) I have wanted THIS camera for EVER and that b) I got it!

With my birthday around the corner and well so many project up ahead I was thrilled to finally be able to get this. SO when my Dad texted me this morning telling me it's arrived I jumped, put on some clothes and rushed to his work to get it! I took some pictures at my Dad's shop (and video which I will share alter) but today I am sharing some pics I took outside my house of the rain beaten flowers.

More coming soon and maybe a few of my friend who I am about to go meet up with.

My RENT Poster...

A few of you guys wanted to know what my poster looks like.

Well now that it is done (at least until my professor has me change it for a better grade) here it is:

Around town...

I had to make a poster for RENT the musical for my Graphic Design class so I went around a little town square nearby to shoot the gritty looking alleys and walls. I ended up taking some pictures of some interesting and textured sides.
